Update: University Bridge reopens following serious collision earlier today

A Saskatoon Police investigation on the University Bridge has concluded. The bridge has reopened. The City of Saskatoon thanks residents for their patience.

University Bridge closed to traffic and pedestrians following serious collision

The University Bridge is closed in both directions following a serious collision at around 7:30 this morning. The closure will stay in effect for an undetermined amount of time as Saskatoon Police investigate.

As a result, traffic volumes on other bridges into Downtown may be greater than usual. Drivers are advised to allow extra time to travel.

Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
