Warman Road traffic signal beginning operation the afternoon of Tuesday, May 19
The City of Saskatoon has completed testing of the new pedestrian crossing signals on Warman Road at Hazen Street and at 5th Avenue North. The signals will move into full operation before the afternoon rush on Tuesday, May 19.
Earlier today, the signals operated in temporary flash mode while crews completed system testing and commissioning.
The signals are being activated ahead of May 31 when bus service begins at the adjacent new bus stop platforms on Routes 30 and 35, providing new access for residents in the area.
Drivers, pedestrians and cyclists are reminded to pay close attention to signage and use extra caution.
To plan a trip on Route 30 and 35, use the Transit App or Google Maps Transit, or check out route schedules at saskatoontransit.ca/routes. These new bus stops will be part of the future Link rapid transit blue line. Learn more at saskatoon.ca/link.
