Water Treatment Program accepting applications for January 2026 intake
The kanātan nipīy (water is clean) Water Distribution & Collection Training Course is delivering its next session between January 19 and March 27, 2026. Applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis.
This course is just 10 weeks long and it provides the training needed to work in water and wastewater treatment. The course content and delivery are coordinated by Saskatchewan Polytechnic and the Radius Community Centre.
Application Info: Send copies of the following admission requirements to kanatannipiy.project@gmail.com:
- Grade 12 or GED / CAEC transcript
- Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver’s License
- Driver Abstract (within the last three months)
- Copy of resumé with three references
This program was developed in response to the TRC Call to Action to provide pathways to employment for Indigenous learners. As such, admission preference is given to Indigenous applicants. Funding support may be available for persons qualifying through referral by program partners including the Saskatoon Tribal Council and Gabriel Dumont Institute Training & Employment.
