Winter Leisure Guide available Friday, November 14; Program registration begins Sunday, November 30, 2025
The Winter Leisure Guide will be available beginning Friday, November 14. You can view it online at saskatoon.ca/leisureguide or pick up a printed copy at locations throughout the city, including City leisure facilities, Saskatoon public libraries or anywhere the StarPhoenix is sold. The City of Saskatoon Leisure Guide is the community’s go-to source for sport, culture and recreation information in Saskatoon.
Highlights of the Winter Leisure Guide (January 1 to March 31, 2026) include information on:
- Lifesaving Society swim lessons
- Public skating and swim times at the City’s indoor rinks and pools
- Free outdoor skating at the Clarence Downey Speed Skating Oval and over 50 outdoor community rinks across the city
- Cross-country skiing at groomed trails around Saskatoon
- Personal and group training programs for youth, adults and 50+ participants
- Preschool and children’s programs such as the Winter Play Program, Learn to Skate, and Lil’ & Mini Movers Active Games
- Free events for youth and families on days off school including Multi-Sport Sampler (January 26), School Break Camps (February 17-19), Family Day Skate (February 16) and Movies in the Gym (March 13)
- Community Association programs and activities
- Other community-based sport, culture and recreation programs and services
