Over 3,500 more residents will be welcoming a new smaller black cart to their household this fall. If you requested a smaller black cart before September 9, your new cart will be delivered between September 16 and October 11.

Cart swaps will correspond with your regularly scheduled garbage collection day. Make sure to roll out your existing cart on each garbage collection day and leave it out for 48 hours during the cart swap window. Existing carts must be left at their collection location (front street or back lane, depending on your address) to be emptied and retrieved. The smaller cart will not be delivered unless your existing cart is retrieved.

If your cart isn’t swapped on your collection date, don’t worry! We’ll be back at your next collection date to attempt the swap.

If you missed out on the city-wide cart swaps, you can still request a smaller cart size after October 31, 2024 by submitting a new request through My Utility Account or calling a Corporate Revenue Customer Service Representative at 306-975-2400.

Avenue H will be closed between 29th and 31st streets on Friday, September 13, starting at 9:00 a.m. for water main maintenance. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zone. This project is expected to take one day to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
