Ride with Transit to explore the world at Saskatoon Folkfest

- Friday, August 15, from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m.
- Saturday, August 16, from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Embark on a journey of culture and community with Saskatoon Transit to Folkfest, August 15 and 16.
Riders can access service to Prairieland Park on Routes 1 and 19. Regular fixed-route service will operate every 30 minutes until 6 p.m., then shift to hourly service until midnight. Regular fares apply ($3.00 per trip). Fares can be purchased on mobile phones using either the TGo or transit app, transfers and passes are also accepted.
Folkfest Hours
Access Transit will pick up and drop off customers at the Prairieland Park main entrance.
Plan your travels in the real-time mobile app Transit or Google Maps. Multi-modal options are available in the Transit app to seamlessly integrate trips with active transportation, OnDemand Transit, riide or Uber using the Transit+ feature. By combining transportation modes, wait times and costs can be minimized.

City’s summer programming and attractions coming to a close for the 2025 season

- Summer Youth Centres – Thursday, August 14
- Summer Playground Programs & Paddling Pools - Last day for weekend programming is Sunday, August 17 and last day of weekday programming is Tuesday, August 19. Locations will have staggered closing times. Refer to the Where to Play Google Map at saskatoon.ca/play for hours of operation on the last day of operation.

- Mayfair & Lathey Outdoor Pools – Sunday, August 24
- Riversdale Outdoor Pool – Monday, September 1

As the end of August approaches, the City’s summer programming and attractions will be wrapping up for the season. The last days of operation will be:
Broadway Avenue closed between 10th and 12th streets on Thursday

Broadway Avenue will be closed between 10th and 12th streets on Thursday, August 14, starting at 4:00 p.m. for the Broadway BID Block Party. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the event. This closure is expected to be lifted after 10:00 p.m., weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

33rd Street will be closed between Idylwyld Drive and Avenue B starting Thursday, August 14, at 7:00 a.m. for water and sewer connection work. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zone. This project is expected to take four days to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
