SASKATOON MULTI-UNIT RECYCLING PROGRAM LAUNCHES

A representative from your news organization is invited to attend a media event regarding the launch of the City of Saskatoon’s multi-unit recycling program.
Brenda Wallace, Director of Environmental & Corporate Initiatives, will provide information on the roll-out of the program.

There will be a photo opportunity and an optional 5-minute tour of the facility immediately following the question and answer session with Ms. Wallace.
For safety reasons, sturdy, closed-toe shoes are required (no high heels). Safety vests will be provided.

Growing Forward! Shaping Saskatoon invites residents to attend one of four upcoming public engagement events to discuss possibilities for shaping Saskatoon’s Growth Plan to Half a Million (Growth Plan). The Growth Plan is being developed to help guide future infrastructure investments in areas like corridor redevelopment, transit, and core area bridges so residents will have more choices for how they live and move around the city as Saskatoon grows.
Main Event – Growth Plan Workshops

10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
TCU Place (Salons A and B), 35 - 22nd Street East
Presentations will begin at 10:15 a.m. and 6:15 p.m., with revolving workshops to follow every half hour to discuss possibilities for corridor redevelopment, transit, and core area bridges. You may choose to participate in one or all of the workshop topics.

Online Services such as Pay Your Parking Ticket, My Utility Account, Submit Your Meter Read and Pet Licensing will also be temporarily unavailable during this time. Customers may experience phone interruptions, and City of Saskatoon email will also be unavailable.
If you require assistance with your Transit route planning, please call 306-975-3100. Transit schedules will not be available online or through Click & Go. Transit will operate with regular Sunday/Holiday Service on Remembrance Day.
