FlexParking - pay once, park anywhere!
FlexParking makes paid parking easy in Saskatoon. Purchase parking from any station anywhere in the city and your paid session is valid in any FlexParking space across Saskatoon. View the map!
For example, if you purchase three hours of parking at a downtown FlexParking station at 10:00am, you can finish your business downtown and move to Riversdale, then Broadway, then any other FlexParking parking area until your session expires at 1:00pm. Please note that your session does not pause while you are driving.
Introducing WayToPark app
WayToPark is a new phone app that allows drivers to pay for parking from their smartphone. The WayToPark app is designed to ease the need of going to a pay station to pay for parking. Instead, drivers can pay for parking through the app by selecting the amount of time and paying directly from their phones with a credit card or city parking card.
The app contains a variety of features that allow drivers to enter and save multiple license plate numbers, print or view receipts and also view current parking sessions. WayToPark is available for download on both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play) devices.
Park within area time limits
Public parking in busy areas is limited to a maximum amount of time, which varies depending on the location. Watch for signs! These limits ensure parking space is continuously made available in high-traffic areas.
If you have reached the maximum limit but need more time in an area, move your vehicle to another block face, e.g. around the corner or across the street. Any time left on your paid session will still be valid in your new location.
Residential parking time limits
Vehicles may be parked on any City street for up to 36 hours, except as otherwise indicated by a sign or provided for in the Traffic Bylaw. Vehicles displaying a parking permit, such as a residential parking permit or disability permit, allowing them to park longer than the signed time limit must observe the 36 hour time limit as well.
