Submit a Letter/Request to Speak to Council and Committees
Use this form if you want to:
- Share your written comments, or
- Ask to speak at a City Council or Council Committee meeting.
The City Clerk will review your submission and send it to the correct Council or Committee.
Before you submit
- Your submission must follow the rules in The Procedures and Committees Bylaw.
- Submissions with fake names or addresses, or that are abusive, will be filed appropriately by the City Clerk.
Deadlines
If the item is already on the agenda
Your submission must be received by 5:00 p.m. on the Monday of the meeting week.
If the issue is new (not on an agenda)
New issues are reviewed by City Administration or sent to the appropriate Council Committee.
To be added to a committee agenda, your letter must be received by:
- 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the Tuesday before the meeting week
PowerPoint or video presentations
- You must make arrangements in advance with the City Clerk’s Office.
- Your presentation must be received before the meeting begins at a pre-arranged time.

Public Access and Recordings
- Your submission may become part of the public record.
- The following information will be posted on saskatoon.ca/meetings:
- Your first and last name
- Your street address
- The first three characters of your postal code
- The full content of your submission
- City Council and Committee meetings are recorded.
- This includes any presentations made by speakers.
