MĒ TA WĒ TĀN Programming
Welcome to MĒ TA WĒ TĀN (“Let’s Play!” in Cree) Indigenous Community Programming. This is barrier-free programming that focuses on Indigenous cultures, activities, and teachings, and where many instructors are Indigenous too. All are welcome to participate, and we look forward to connecting with you!
We all gather in a good and respectful way and recognize that the instructor is assisting the whole class, so we will practice patience and grace during our time together. We will use all equipment and materials in a sustainable way that allows these programs to continue to reach all members of the Saskatoon community.
We appreciate feedback and ask that you take time to provide your insights, as this helps us to adapt our programs as needed to ensure that they continue to run in the future.
*Light refreshments provided at all MĒ TA WĒ TĀN programs*
Photos of our programs are vital to show how meaningful these opportunities are; please note that photos will be taken throughout all programs. Please approach the instructors or programmers if this is an issue and accommodation can be arranged.
