CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – 2027 BOARDS, COMMISSIONS AND COMMITTEES
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Saskatoon is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on civic Boards, Commissions and Committees (BCCs) for the 2027 appointment term.
Boards, Commissions and Committees play an important role in civic governance by representing diverse community perspectives and providing advice and recommendations that help inform City Council decisions, policies, programs and services.
Application Period
Applications will be accepted from: September 1, 2026, to September 18, 2026.
Opportunities
Citizen members may be appointed to a variety of civic bodies, including:
- Advisory Committees;
- Appeals Boards; and
- Business Improvement Districts;
- Controlled Corporations;
Who Should Apply?
The City welcomes applications from residents of all backgrounds and encourages submissions from:
- Indigenous Peoples;
- Equity-deserving and ethnically diverse communities;
- Immigrants;
- Members of the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community;
- Persons with disabilities;
- Youth aged 16 to 23; and
- Other under-represented groups.
