PROPOSED CLOSURE OF PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY – PORTION OF ROAD 400 BLOCK 12TH STREET EAST
Saskatoon City Council will consider a proposed public right-of-way closure in the 400 block of 12th Street East approximately 110 meters west of the intersection of 12th Street East and Eastlake Avenue proposed by City of Saskatoon (Saskatoon Land). The proposed location of the road closure is shown on the map below. Please note that this area is not currently developed or used for vehicular traffic.
REASON FOR THE CLOSURE – This portion of road will be transferred to the City of Saskatoon and combined with an adjacent parcel currently owned by the City of Saskatoon. Pending Committee and Council approval, Saskatoon Land would then sell the combined parcel to the owner of two adjacent parcels located at 403 12th Street East and 555 Eastlake Avenue to create one large parcel for future development.

PUBLIC HEARING – City Council will consider all submissions and those that wish to speak on the proposed amendment at the City Council meeting on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at City Council Chamber, City Hall, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
