Proposed amendments primarily relate to regulations for digital signs and project development signs following a review of these sign types. The objectives of the review included addressing community concerns related to traffic safety, sign clutter, and impacts to adjacent land uses. Minor housekeeping amendments are also proposed to assist with bylaw interpretation and administration.
REASON FOR THE AMENDMENT – Appendix A amendments are necessary to modernize the regulations pertaining to digital signs and project development signs, as well as provide consistency for sign requirements across other sections of the Zoning Bylaw.
