Engage
What Are We Asking?
The City of Saskatoon is committed to making our downtown core a vibrant and accessible destination. The Connecting 19th Street East: Cycling and Public Realm Improvements project will deliver a functional design for attractive and inclusive cycling facilities, enhancing the downtown corridor and creating a welcoming place for all residents, workers, students, and visitors to enjoy.
There will be multiple opportunities to share your input and help shape the design from November 2025 to December 2025.
To support the development of the functional design, we will be engaging in the community and stakeholders to understand:
- What features or design elements would make cycling and walking along 19th Street East safer and more comfortable;
- How the design can better support businesses, residents, and visitors in the downtown area; and
- What public realm improvements (such as landscaping, lighting, or seating) would make this corridor more welcoming and vibrant.
Your input will help the project team refine design options and ensure the final design reflects community needs, priorities, and local experiences.
