Design & Development Standards Manual
The Design and Development Standards Manual provides process and design details to interested parties who require information about new subdivision developments, infill development and redevelopment of properties in the City of Saskatoon.
Section 1 – Introduction
Introduction to the scope of the Design and Development Standards Manual and topics such as regulatory authority, Proponent’s responsibility, and liability.
Section 2 – Land Development Process
Submissions and approvals, concept plan, servicing agreement, and levies for subdivision development.
Section 3 – Construction Practices
Regulatory requirements for construction of municipal infrastructure including Approval to Construct, Construction Completion, Maintenance, and Final Acceptance.
Section 4 – Water Distribution System
Submissions and approvals, design flows, system components, and future developments relating to the water distribution system.
Section 5 – Sanitary Sewer Collection System
Submissions and approvals, design flows, system components, and future developments relating to the sanitary sewer collection system.
Section 6 – Storm Water Drainage System
Submissions and approvals, design flows, minor and major system components, property drainage, water quality, and future developments relating to the storm water drainage system. Refer also to "Wetland Design Guidelines" and "Low Impact Development Design Guide".
Section 7 – Service Connections
