What We Are Asking
Transit is more than a transportation option: it connects our community, supports our economy, and provides access to jobs, education, and essential services. Saskatoon Transit and other transit agencies across North America are investigating ways to improve ridership, enhance service and adopt new technologies to modernize how fares are structured, while balancing revenue needs with affordability concerns.
The City of Saskatoon is seeking input from the community on important priorities to be considered in reviewing and designing a transit fare structure. There are many different scenarios for fare structure design to consider, and through our survey we are seeking feedback on four scenarios to better understand the perspectives and preferences of the community. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the survey, whether you use transit or not. This is your chance to share your perspective as we design a new fare structure!

Bus Network Redesign Project - Survey
Saskatoon Transit is also seeking public feedback on its bus network redesign project. The purpose of this project is to redesign the bus network to connect communities with the new Link system by 2028.
We’re asking residents to share their preferences on key aspects of taking a bus such as frequency, walking distance, willingness to transfer and travel time. You can provide your feedback by completing our online survey, which is available until October 31st, 2025. The results will inform Saskatoon Transit’s updated Service Standards and be used in the redesigned bus network, to be presented in 2026 for public feedback.
