Firefighters observed flames coming from upper story window of townhouse

Action(s) Taken:

Crews advanced a hose line to apply water to the fire, while other crews confirmed no occupants remained inside.

More Information:
  • The fire has been completely extinguished.
  • The fire has been brought under control.
  • A search confirmed all occupants safely evacuated.
  • There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
  • A fire investigator is on scene to conduct an examination to identify the cause, origin and damage estimate.

Motor Vehicle Collision - Warman Overpass by Circle Drive.

Firefighters found a two vehicle MVC.

Action(s) Taken:

Firefighters secured the scene.

Crews determined no extrication was required.

Fire paramedics attended to 2 patients with minor injuries.

One vehicle was a Tesla and had to be immobilized using a department de-energizing device.

  • The scene was turned over to Police for further investigation.

Structure Fire - 600 Cartwright St

Firefighters reported flames and heavy smoke exiting from attached garage and threatening house

Action(s) Taken:

Crews advanced hose lines to apply water to the exterior of structure, while other crews entered structure to confirm no occupants remained inside.

  • The fire has been brought under control.
  • A search confirmed all occupants safely evacuated.
  • Fire crews remain on scene.

Structure Fire 700 Block Ave I North

Crews observed heavy flames and smoke coming from the roof of the detached garage.

Action(s) Taken:

Crews advanced hose lines to apply water from the exterior of the garage. It was confirmed there were no occupants inside the garage at the time of the fire.

Single Motor Vehicle Accident - Valley Road

Scene Upon Arrival:

First arriving crews found a single vehicle in the ditch that had hit a power pole.

Action(s) Taken:

Crews determined there was no danger from the power lines and advanced to find the driver unconscious.

Fire paramedics removed the patient from the vehicle.

A second fire crew assisted STARS with landing on the highway.

Fire paramedics transferred the patient to STARS.

The scene was turned over to RCMP.
