- Fire crews advanced hose lines to garage interior to extinguish contents fire.
- Fire damage contained to building of origin
- The fire has been completely extinguished.
- A search confirmed all occupants safely evacuated.
- There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
- A fire investigator is on scene to conduct an examination to identify the cause, origin and damage estimate.
Firefighters observed black smoke coming from garage
Commercial fire – Corman Park, Range Road 3052

At 2:38 p.m., the Saskatoon Fire Department (SFD) responded to a report of black smoke coming from a commercial building.
When firefighters arrived, they saw smoke coming from an overhead door. They discovered that the building’s air handling system had caught fire.
All occupants had safely evacuated before crews began putting out the smoldering filters. The fire was fully extinguished by 3:32 p.m.
Damage is estimated to be approximately $10,000. The cause of the fire is unknown.
Autobody shop fire 600 Block Ave. O South

- Crews accessed the attic space of the building to check for fire extension
- The fire was brought under control quickly with limited damage to the business
- The fire has been completely extinguished.
- A search confirmed all occupants safely evacuated.

Firefighters found light smoke in the building.
Crews investigated and found a small fire had occurred in the oven of the restaurant.
