Adjusted civic services & hours of operation, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Wednesday, September 30

The City of Saskatoon will have several adjusted civic services and hours of operation on Wednesday, September 30, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Residents are encouraged to observe this important day through reflection, learning and meaningful conversations about reconciliation.

CITY HALL

City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, September 30, and will reopen on Thursday, October 1, at 8 a.m.

REMAI MODERN

Remai Modern will be open from 10 am to 5 pm on Wednesday, September 30.

SASKATOON PUBLIC LIBRARY

All Saskatoon Public Library locations will be closed on Wednesday, September 30.

SASKATOON TRANSIT

• Fixed-route, OnDemand, and Access Transit services, as well as the Transit Customer Service Centre, will operate regular hours on Wednesday, September 30.
  • For real-time bus locations, service alerts and trip planning, use the Transit app
  • Visit saskatoontransit.ca
• Access Transit Trips must be booked in advance as per normal procedures.
  • Subscriptions will not automatically be cancelled. Customers are to contact Access Transit to cancel service for September 30, if required.

PAY PARKING

• Please note: Parking payment will be required on Wednesday, September 30.
• Motorists are reminded that all parking requirements remain in effect, including parking time limits.

MUNICIPAL IMPOUND LOT

• Vehicles will be released to the public on Wednesday, September 30.

WASTE COLLECTIONS

Garbage, Recycling and Organics have collections as scheduled.

MATERIAL RECOVERY CENTRE & LANDFILL

• The Material Recovery Centre and Landfill are open on Wednesday, September 30 from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
• Cash transactions are accepted, although Credit and Debit are recommended.

COMPOST DEPOT

The Compost Depot is open on Wednesday, September 30 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

WOODLAWN CEMETERY

• The cemetery office is closed on Wednesday, September 30.
• Cemetery grounds are open to the public from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily as usual.

SASKATOON FORESTRY FARM PARK & ZOO

Regular Hours of Operation

• Zoo – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Forestry Farm Park - 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

LEISURE CENTRES

• Cosmo Civic Centre - Closed
• Harry Bailey Aquatic Centre - Closed for facility upgrade. Learn more at saskatoon.ca/harrybailey.
• Lakewood Civic Centre – 12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Lawson Civic Centre – 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Saskatoon Field House – 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

GOLF COURSES

• Holiday Park, Wildwood and Silverwood golf courses are open regular hours operation – tee times begin at 7 a.m.
• Holiday Park and Silverwood driving ranges are open regular hours of operation
  • Silverwood – 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. (last bucket sold at 4:30 p.m.)
  • Holiday Park – 10:00 a.m. - 6 p.m. (last bucket sold at 5:30 p.m.)
