City’s 2026/2027 Multi-Year Budget: Public invited to share input, note important deadlines
City Council’s 2026/2027 Multi-Year Business Plan and Budget deliberations begin on Tuesday, November 25 and carry forward on November 26 and 27, 2025 if required. The meetings will begin at 9:30 a.m. each day.
The budget agenda package will be available on November 19 at 4:00 p.m. on the City’s website at saskatoon.ca/meetings.
The 2026/2027 Budget agenda* will include:
- Administration’s report with over 100 budget scenarios for City Council's review, all focused on reducing property tax rates in 2026 and 2027
- Reports from the City’s Controlled Corporations and Statutory Boards
- General reports, operating and capital options

How to participate and share comments on the 2026/2027 Budget with your City Council
Members of the public are invited to submit their budget-related comments or request a 5-minute presentation (in person or remotely) to City Council during its 2026/2027 Budget deliberations.
Important deadlines:
- Tuesday, November 18 at 12:00 noon: Submissions received by this time will be included in the budget agenda package released on November 19.
- Monday, November 24 at 5:00 p.m. Additional submissions will be accepted until this time and included in the revised agenda.
