Get involved, join a City of Saskatoon Board, Committee or Commission; apply before October 3
The City of Saskatoon is continuing to accept applications until October 3 from residents who want to take an active role in their community. We invite you to apply to join one of the City's Boards, Commissions or Committees to help make a difference on civic matters important to you!
Our civic boards, committees and commissions rely on dedicated volunteers to share their diverse perspectives, skills and experience. By serving, you’ll contribute to the development and enhancement of City policies, programs and services and help City Council build a stronger, more inclusive Saskatoon.
Together, we are stronger. Together, we shape Saskatoon.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and strongly encourage submissions from Indigenous peoples, equity-deserving and ethnically diverse communities, immigrants, members of the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community, persons with disabilities, youth aged 16–23 and other underrepresented groups.
There’s a wide range of meaningful opportunities where you can share your knowledge, experience, and passion. From Controlled Corporations like the Boards for TCU Place, SaskTel Centre and Remai Modern Art Gallery of Saskatchewan, to Statutory Boards such as the Board of Police Commissioners and the Saskatoon Public Library Board, and numerous advisory committees and appeals boards.
Review the complete list of our open positions, term length and duties, and apply online at saskatoon.ca/boards before 5 p.m., Friday, October 3, 2025. Your application must include your resume and two letters of reference. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
