Provincial Financial Assistance Now Available for Flood-Affected Saskatoon Residents
The Province of Saskatchewan has approved the City of Saskatoon’s application to be officially designated as an Eligible Assistance Area that qualifies for the Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP).
This means that Saskatoon residents who experienced flooding and property damage due to the significant rainfall on August 8, 2025, may now apply to the Province for financial assistance through the Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP).
Residents, please note:
- The PDAP program is wholly administered by the Province of Saskatchewan - PDAP is not a City of Saskatoon program.
- The Province via PDAP makes all decisions regarding your claim.
- Please direct all questions regarding the PDAP application process for your claim to the numbers provided in the province's PDAP Fact Sheet, it outlines all the details you’ll need to know.
PDAP Information packages (including a printed application form) are available for pick up at the Information Desk in the lobby of City Hall at 222 3rd Ave North starting Monday, September 15, 2025.
Important dates for residents to be aware of with respect to the potential claim you submit to the Province:
