OUTDOOR POOLS OPEN FOR THE SUMMER BEGINNING FRIDAY, JUNE 12, 2015
June 9, 2015 - 3:00am
Make a splash this summer! Lathey Pool and Riversdale Pool will open for the season on Friday, June 12, and George Ward Pool and Mayfair Pool will open on Monday, June 15, 2015.
General admission to the outdoor pools provides access to a variety of aquatic drop-in activities (i.e. public, lane, Parent and Tot swims, and Aquafitness classes) for patrons of all ages. Children under six years are admitted free to outdoor pools when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Available again for the summer are the popular outdoor pool bulk tickets! Purchasing a pack of ten outdoor pool passes provides a 20% discount off regular general admission rates. Get them while it’s HOT!
Swimming lessons are offered for all ages and abilities at each outdoor pool. Please refer to the City of Saskatoon’s Summer Leisure Mini Guide (www.saskatoon.ca/leisureguide) for more details.
Outdoor pools will be cleared immediately if lightning occurs and will be closed during steady rain conditions or if temperatures reach 14 degrees or lower. Check Drop-in Online (www.saskatoon.ca/dropinonline), and sign up for Service Alerts for updates.
