Proposed Rezoning – Eastern Portion of Aspen Ridge Neighbourhood and Aspen Ridge Village Square
City Council will consider Bylaw No. 10202, The Zoning Amendment Bylaw, 2026 (No. 19) proposed by Saskatoon Land, for land in the Aspen Ridge neighbourhood. Lands located in the eastern portion of the Aspen Ridge neighbourhood and the Aspen Ridge Village Square are proposed to be rezoned in alignment with the approved Aspen Ridge Neighbourhood Concept Plan. The proposed rezoning is for lands currently zoned as FUD – Future Urban Development District, FUD(H) – Future Urban Development District subject to a Holding Symbol, and R1B - Low Density Residential District 1B to a mix of:
- R1A - Low Density Residential District 1A
- R2 - Low Density Residential District 2
- RMNT - Townhouse Residential District
- RMTN1 - Medium Density Townhouse Residential District 1
- RM3 - Medium Density Multiple Unit Dwelling District
- B1B - Neighbourhood Commercial - Mixed-Unit District

REASON FOR THE AMENDMENT – The proposed rezoning will provide for residential development, and related community uses in alignment with the approved Aspen Ridge Neighbourhood Concept Plan.

PUBLIC HEARING – City Council will consider this matter at the Public Hearing meeting of City Council on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at Council Chamber, City Hall, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. You may make a written submission and/or speak to Council at the Public Hearing.
