Sale of 1.2 Acres of Nutana Kiwanis Park North
Saskatoon City Council will consider the sale of 1.2 acres of Nutana Kiwanis Park North to Elmwood Residences Incorporated. The proposed park land is shown on the map below.
REASON FOR THE SALE – Elmwood has advised that their current facilities can no longer meet their needs or best practices for accessibility and are looking to develop a more inclusive and individualized approach with modern, accessible housing operations. To achieve that goal, the Elmwood Community Hub-Homebase Project is under development which involves a capital project to redevelop their facilities located at 2012 Arlington Avenue. Elmwood has advised that they require additional land and have made a request to purchase approximately 0.49 hectares (1.2 acres) of park land that is part of Nutana Kiwanis North Park, located adjacent to their current property. The proposed sale will support the Elmwood Community Hub – Homebase Project which will integrate accessible and affordable residential housing, health and wellness facilities, and a range of supportive services at 2012 Arlington Ave.

PUBLIC HEARING – City Council will consider this matter at the Public Hearing on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at City Council Chamber, City Hall, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. You may make a written submission and/or speak to City Council at the Public Hearing.
