Planning and Development has received an application from Boychuk Investments Ltd. to amend the Rosewood Neighbourhood Concept Plan (Concept Plan) and rezone a portion of the site shown on the maps below.
The subject parcel, located between Rosewood Drive and Highway 16 is currently undeveloped and designated Multi Family in the Concept Plan. The site is currently zoned R1A – One-Unit Residential District.
To provide for the future development of one-unit dwellings, Boychuk Investments Ltd. is proposing to re-designate the site to Single Family in the Concept Plan and rezone to R2 – One and Two-Unit Residential District.
The purpose of the R2 District is to provide for residential development in the form of one and two-unit dwellings as well as related community uses.
