Water rescue – South of Senator Sid Buckwold Bridge

Firefighters saw a conscious person lying in the shallow water
Fire personnel removed person from the river onto the bank
Crew turned patient care to the ambulance
Crew assisted ambulance moving patient off the river bank to stretcher
Motor vehicle Collision- Semi on its side- Over pass Idywyld and 51st street

- There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
- The scene was turned over to Saskatoon Police Service for further investigation.
Firefighters observed truck and double trailer unit on its side on overpass
Firefighters observed the load was dispersed on road way- load was lumber
Crews ensured vehicle was shut off and driver was ok
Crews dammed diesel fluid leak
Both lanes closed on overpass
Garage Fire - 1100 block of Avenue J South

Firefighters observed smoke and flames coming from detached garage
Crews advanced hose lines to apply water to exterior of garage
Crews then advance hose lines into garage to extinguish fire
Structure Fire - 400 block of Avenue D South

Firefighters observed smoke coming from home
Crews advanced multiple hose lines to apply water from outside structure
Crews then advanced hose lines into home to extinguish fire
Crews set up fans to remove smoke and toxins from building
Crews completed search and confirm no occupants remained inside
