Structure fire - Crimp Place

- The fire has been completely extinguished.
- A search confirmed all occupants safely evacuated.
- There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
- A fire investigator is on scene to conduct an examination to identify the cause, origin and damage estimate.
Firefighters observed smoke and flames coming from the house
Fire crews advanced a hose line to apply water to the exterior of the house while another crew entered the house to confirm no occupants or pets remained inside
Crews set up large fans to remove any lingering smoke and toxins from the house
Motor vehicle collision - Circle Drive West and Ontario Avenue

- There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
- The scene was turned over to Saskatoon Police Service for further investigation.
Firefighters found 3 vehicles involved in a collision.
Fire crews confirmed all occupants were out of all vehicles involved.
Crews assessed all occupants for injuries.
Fire crews cleaned up vehicle debris from the collision.
Motor vehicle collision - 1700 block Preston Avenue North

- There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
- The scene was turned over to Saskatoon Police Service for further investigation.
Firefighters observed a vehicle lodged in the front of one of the businesses.
Fire crews confirmed no one was trapped in the vehicle.
Crews confirmed no one was injured both inside the business and outside.
Fire crews assisted with vehicle removal from business.
Crews evaluated the business for structural stability.
Motor vehicle collision - Idylwyld Dr N and 60th street
August 22, 2026 - 6:46 am
- The scene was turned over to Saskatoon Police Service for further investigation.
Firefighters found two vehicles and a semi tractor unit involved in a collision
Fire crews checked the multiple occupants for injuries.
Crews cleaned up debris and fluids from the vehicles.
Commercial structure fire - Corman Park
August 22, 2026 - 6:36 am
- The fire has been completely extinguished.
- There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
- The scene was turned over to Corman Park Police Service for further investigation.
Firefighters observed light smoke coming from second level of large processing plant.
Fire crews performed a search to find the location of the fire.
Crews confirmed all machines in area were shut down and de-energized
Fire crews advanced multiple hose lines to extinguish the fire.
Structure Fire- 700 BLK Hart Rd
August 11, 2026 - 9:36 pm
- The fire has been completely extinguished.
- There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
- A fire investigator is on scene to conduct an examination to identify the cause, origin and damage estimate.
Smoke and flame observed coming from 2nd story window on arrival of a town house complex
Crews deployed handlines and fought fire from exterior of building.
2nd crew made entry to fully extinguished fire.
Crews checked for fire extension to attic space and adjoining structures
Crews searched building, no occupants home at time of fire.
Water rescue team searches for possible jumper from Senator Sid Buckwold Bridge
August 10, 2026 - 6:22 am
- Firefighters and fire water rescue personnel met by police officers who had reports of someone possibly jumping from bridge into South Saskatchewan river.
Firefighters met with witnesses to gather information.
Fire water rescue personnel used a boat to search the river, while firefighters searched from the bridge using lights and thermal image cameras.
The search has been suspended pending any new information.

Fire Department rescues person trapped in mud
August 10, 2026 - 12:10 am
- Firefighters requested by police to assist in locating and extricating a person stuck in the mud off Highway 60 and Valley Road.
Firefighters and police searched the area given by the distressed caller.
Firefighters found patient waist deep stuck in the mud, hollering for help.
Due to extreme remote location, heavily treed and overgrown area along a slough firefighters shuttled rescue equipment to patient.
Firefighters used ladders and various rescue equipment to free patient from mud.
Firefighter paramedics quickly assessed patient for injuries.
Firefighters then carried patient away from the slough and transferred patient care to ambulance personnel.
- The scene was turned over to RCMP for further investigation.
Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision - Highway 16 and Boychuk Dr
August 9, 2026 - 12:45 pm
- Firefighters observed a single vehicle that had struck the overpass at this location.
- Firefighters observed the vehicle was fully consumed by fire on arrival
- Crews advanced a hose line to apply water to the vehicle involved.
- Crews performed a search of the entire area for anyone else involved.
- The fire has been completely extinguished.
- There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
- The scene was turned over to Saskatoon Police Service for further investigation.
2nd Alarm Structure Fire - 100 block of Bowlt Cresent
August 8, 2026 - 10:35 am
- Firefighters observed heavy smoke and large flames coming from a construction area attached to the school
- Fire crews advanced multiple hose lines to extinguish a building under construction.
- Fire command called for a 2nd Alarm, which brought additional apparatus and firefighters to the scene.
- Fire crews set up 2 Ladder trucks to assist with fire extinguishment.
- Crews entered the school to look for fire extension and search for people inside
- Fire command utilized a command vehicle for fire operations and communication with other agencies.
- The fire has been completely extinguished.
- The fire has been brought under control.
- A fire investigator is on scene to conduct an examination to identify the cause, origin and damage estimate.
