Lorne Avenue closed between 1st and 2nd streets on Sunday

Lorne Avenue will be closed between 1st and 2nd streets on Sunday, June 15, starting at 8:00 a.m. for a valve repair. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zone. This project is expected to take one day to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Road restrictions for Motorcycle Ride for Dad on Saturday

The annual Motorcycle Ride for Dad will start at the Western Development Museum on Saturday, June 14, at approximately 10:15 a.m. Roadways with restrictions include Lorne Avenue, Idylwyld Drive, 1st Avenue, 20th Street, Spadina Crescent, Pinehouse Drive and Primrose Drive. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the area. The Ride is expected to end at 12:00 p.m. at Lawson Heights Mall, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Bus service to Rattlers vs Shooting Stars

Direct service from the Special Events Stop (23rd Street and 2nd Avenue) to see the Saskatchewan Rattlers take on the Scarborough Shooting Stars at SaskTel Centre on Friday, June 13 at 7:30 p.m., is available at the following times:
Post-event drop-off is at the downtown terminal and regular fares apply ($3.00 per trip). Fare can be purchased on your mobile phone using either the TGo or transit app, transfers and passes are also accepted. Typically, buses arrive onsite 30 minutes prior to the end of the event.
