Structure fire 100 Block Boykowich Bend involving 2 Houses

Scene Upon Arrival:

Firefighters observed smoke and heavy flames coming from the roof of both houses.

Action(s) Taken:

Crews advanced multiple hose lines to extinguish the fire from the exterior of both houses.

Crews set up an aerial ladder to extinguish the in the roof of the two structures

All occupants were safely out of the houses

 

More Information:
  • The fire has been completely extinguished.
  • A search confirmed all occupants safely evacuated.
  • There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
  • A fire investigator is on scene to conduct an examination to identify the cause, origin and damage estimate.

Firefighters observed smoke and flames coming from an attached garage

 

Action(s) Taken:
  • Crews advanced hose lines to apply water to the fire
  • Two occupants were located and evacuated by firefighters. Fire crews searched the building to confirm no other occupants or pets remained inside.
  • Fire crews set up large fans to remove any lingering smoke and toxins from the building.

300 block of Pinehouse Drive: Search For Missing Person

Request from SPS to assist in searching for a missing person

Action(s) Taken:

SFD deployed Command-9 which is a mobile command post with staff from our EMO team to assist SPS with Incident Command. SFD also deployed the Water Rescue Team to search down river using their Stryker Craft for the missing person.

Garage Fire - 300 block of Witney Ave N

Firefighters observed smoke coming from detached garage

Action(s) Taken:

Crews advanced a hose line to apply water while another crew protected their egress for safety. Fire was extinguished and area searched to confirm that their were no occupants inside.
