Direct service from the Special Events Stop (23rd Street and 2nd Avenue) to see the Saskatoon Blades take on the Prince Albert Raiders at SaskTel Centre on Saturday, September 20 at 7:00 p.m. is available at the following times:

• 5:45 p.m.
• 6:25 p.m.

Post-event drop-off is at the downtown terminal and regular fares apply ($3.00 per trip). Fare can be purchased on your mobile phone using either the TGo or transit app, transfers and passes are also accepted. Typically, buses arrive onsite 30 minutes prior to the end of the event.

**The previous Public Service Announcement incorrectly stated that yard waste drop-off will also be available. The pilot is only for compost pick-up. We regret the error and apologize for the oversight.**

The City of Saskatoon is launching a pilot program for residential dig-your-own compost pick-up at the Material Recovery Centre (MRC) beginning Monday, September 22. This initiative is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to improve access to compost and streamline organics processing.

The pilot will run daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at Sort & Go at the MRC from September 22, 2025 to November 8, 2025. 

Residents participating in the pilot will be required to bring their own shovel to load compost into their containers or vehicles.

Bulk compost sales are only available at the Compost Depot.
