Energy Assistance Program
High utility bills can be stressful for lower-income households and it can be costly to make energy efficient upgrades to your home. We’ve partnered with SaskPower to help save you money, energy, and water through the Energy Assistance Program.
The Energy Assistance Program targets low-income residents across Saskatchewan (both renters and owners) who have not traditionally been able to access other energy efficiency programs. The City of Saskatoon’s partnership with SaskPower ensures that customers in both SaskPower’s and Saskatoon Light & Power’s service areas can access the program! The program has also received funding from the Government of Canada’s Low Carbon Economy Fund.
How It Works
SaskPower’s Home Energy Advisors will come to your home and complete a walkthrough. They'll upgrade your home with free energy efficient items that’ll help you save money and energy.
