Saskatoon Transit updates

As an added level of safety, mid-route bus cleaning has started during the day in the downtown terminal. Passengers will be required to exit the bus while all hard surfaces are wiped down.

The City reminds residents that the provincial ban on pruning elm trees will be in effect between Wednesday, April 1 and Monday, August 31, 2020.

The ban ensures that elm bark beetles, which transmit Dutch elm disease (DED), are not attracted to the freshly pruned trees at the time when these beetles are most active.  Anyone wishing to prune elm trees during the ban must obtain a permit. Please call the City’s Parks Division at 306-975-3300 for information.

22nd Street East, between 3rd and 4th avenues, will be closed starting Tuesday, March 31 at 8:00 a.m. to repair a watermain. This work is expected to take two days to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Effective March 25, the City has decided to close the CP Pedestrian Bridge as it is not wide enough to practice social distancing (keeping a distance of at least 2-metres from others). The pedestrian bridge will remain closed until further notice.
