Circle Drive westbound traffic is experiencing delays near Millar Avenue. The roadway is closed between Millar Avenue and 1st Avenue North following a single-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck and power poles.

Traffic restrictions at the intersection:

• Westbound closure of Circle Drive
• Southbound closure of Millar Avenue
• Traffic will be rerouted northbound on Millar Avenue
• Restrictions on left hand turn on Venture Crecent.

Please follow all signs and detours in place and slow down when passing workers. Avoid the area if you can.

Crews are working as quickly as possible to resolve the situation, further updates will be shared when available.

Spadina Crescent will be closed in various locations starting Saturday, May 9. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the areas. The City thanks everyone for their patience. The closures will be as follows:

• Starting at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday
  Spadina Crescent will be closed between Pembina and Pinehouse drives for the Bridge City Duathlon. The closure is expected to lift at 1:00 p.m.
• Starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday
  Spadina Crescent will be closed between Queen and Duke Streets for tree maintenance. This project is expected to take five hours to complete.
• Starting at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday and Monday
  Spadina Crescent will be closed under the Broadway Bridge for bridge maintenance. This project is expected to take 12 hours each day to complete.

Originally scheduled for May 7, Saskatoon Transit’s temporary route adjustments on College Drive have been postponed due to a shift in the project schedule. The detours will now begin on Friday, May 8, as construction along College Drive and into downtown progresses to the next stage. Riders should anticipate some delays during construction.

  • Route 16: Temporarily terminates at USask
    • Alternate downtown service: Routes 4/40s, 6, 8 and 19
  • Route 17: Detours via 14th Street and Cumberland Avenue
  • Routes 4/43/44/45/46: Continues downtown via Cumberland Avenue, 12th Street, and Broadway Avenue
  • Route 517: Temporary shuttle service between Clarence Avenue and Place Riel via Cumberland and 12th Street
    • Monday to Saturday: 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
    • Sunday: 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Phase 1: Stage 2
  • Following the conclusion of Stage 1B, transit routes will return to regular routing along College Drive. Some stops will remain closed, but temporary stops will be added as needed
