REMINDER: City participating in Community Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration
The City is participating in the Saskatoon Indian & Metis Friendship Centre (SIMFC) Community Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration on June 21, between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., in Victoria Park. The event is family-friendly and open to all.
The City will have its new Community Tipi on display and there will be programming there throughout the day, including tipi raising, tipi teachings, Elder teachings, and several sessions on what went into the making of our new Reconciliation Visual Identity. Adjacent to the tipi, the City will have an Indigenous recruitment kiosk set up.

12 p.m. Lunch/Entertainment
2-4 p.m. Cultural Performances, Children's Activities, Elders Tent, City's Community Tipi, Indigenous Vendors

NOTE: The Rock Your Roots Walk for Reconciliation that formerly took place on June 21 has been moved to September 30—the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation.
